HKFRMA was under preliminary preparation in year 2000. The inaugural meeting was held by the founders in 2000 and the purpose of the association was then established. HKFRMA was formally established in 2005, and is set up as a global professional institute, holding the test of “Certified Financial Risk Manager”. HKFRMA is a professional organization of Famous Experts and Scholars. Facing to the world, we aim to establish a widely recognized high level standard for the industry of financial risk management through education and certification, which fulfills the need of knowledge and know-how of the financial risk management specialty. By promoting members to exchange and study the experiences and knowledge, HKFRMA aims to broaden the view and enhance the skills of the risk management, while transmitting the regulation rules of the local governor. HKFRMA will provide a service platform for the members to raise their working ability, and for continuous learning, via news report, publication, website information, and examination. To be recognized as the premier professional body representing financial risk managers who uphold the highest standards in financial risk management that benefit both the public and the financial organizations.
