Code of ethics of HKFRMA
The Code of Ethics describes the minimum standards of acceptable professional conduct for members, CFRM holders and candidates who are now pursuing the certification of CFRM.
As part of the certification requirements, all CFRM holders and candidates have to abide by HKFRMA's Code of Ethics, which will enhance your professionalism and commitment to your clients in fostering the standards in this profession. If by any chance there are any violations of the Code, members, holders and candidates should immediately report the cases to HKFRMA.
The Code of Ethics will express the profession's recognition of its responsibilities to the public, to clients, to colleagues, and to employers.

- Integrity
All members, candidates and CFRM holders (MCHs) should conduct with integrity, competence and respect with clients, prospects, colleagues and other relevant participants in the profession.
MCH should always place the clients interests and integrity of the profession above their personal interests.
- Objectivity
Objectivity is an essential quality for any professional. MCH shall be objective in providing professional services to clients and shall stick to their own independent professional judgment. And they should try their best to avoid any form of conflicts of interests, or disclose the conflicts of interests if appropriate.
- Competence
MCHs shall provide services to clients competently and maintain the necessary knowledge and skill to continue to do so in those areas in which they are engaged. All MCHs shall make a continuing commitment to learning and professional improvement.
- Confidentiality
All MCHs shall not disclose any confidential client information without the specific consent of the client unless relevant with illegal or permitted by clients.
- Diligence
All MCHs shall act thoroughly and diligently when providing professional services. All the proposals provided by MCHs shall be based on adequate and thorough investigation.
