Requirements
There are no prerequisites to register in the CFRM program. However, during the enrollment process, participants must agree to abide by and be subject to the HKFRMA's Code of Ethics throughout their candidacy.
How to Get Certified
You can earn the right to use the CFRM designation by:
- Ethics - Agreeing to comply with the Professional Standards of HKFRMA
- Membership - Becoming a Member of the HKFRMA
- Education - Completing at least 120 education credit hours by our qualified course provider(s)
- Exams - Passing 5-hour exam in one day
- Experience - Meeting the experience requirement of at least two years of experience in financial risk management or relevant field in finance
To retain your certification, you must:
- Be an active HKFRMA Member by paying membership fee annually
- Comply with the Professional Standards of HKFRMA
- Complete 20 credit hours of Mandatory Continuing Education annually after obtaining the right to use CFRM designation.
